• Current shingles are uneven, wavy, curled, or made of carved clay or ceramic tiles.
• The existing roof is tile or slate, which requires full removal or repair.
• A previous recover re-roof layer already exists on the house (two existing roof layers).
• The existing roof system is too severely damaged or worn to allow an effective recover re-roof.
